Graduate Student Residence Fees
Rate Description Fee (per suite per term)
Regular  Regular rate applies to 2-term contracts: Fall/Winter or Fall/Spring $5,400
Special  Special rate applies to contracts for three consecutive terms and consecutive single-term renewals on three-term contracts. $4,000

 

Deposit 

A $500 deposit and a signed contract are required to secure a private suite.  The deposit will be applied to the last month's rent when due; tenants will be credited with interest on the deposit in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act. 

Students are asked to accept their offer of residence and return a signed Rental Agreement within ten (10) business days of receiving said offer.

 
Methods of Payment 

Once you have a residence offer, you will receive payment instructions. Payments can be made through:  

  • E-Transfer 
  • Personal cheque, money order, bank draft  
  • Cash/debit  
 
Payment Deadlines 

Monthly rent is due by the 1st day of each month.

 

Late Payments 

Interest charges will be applied to all outstanding residence fees at a rate of 1.5% compounded monthly.  Outstanding accounts will result in a hold placed on the student’s Quest account until the full payment has been received.

    Students interested in living in the Louis Hall Graduate Student residence building should fill out an online application.

    Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis to fill vacant suites.  Applicants will be contacted when a space becomes available for the requested terms.
