Events
Many graduates and community members of St. Jerome’s University are making a difference in regions and workplaces around the world and are going above and beyond the call of duty in service of the community. Each year, the University presents three awards which recognize graduates and community members who have demonstrated exemplary service in their personal and professional lives in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of St. Jerome’s University. These awards include:
The Fr. Norm Choate, C.R., Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award - Established in 1986, this award is presented to an alum who has demonstrated extraordinary accomplishment in their professional and community life.
The Sr. Leon White, SSND, Early Alumni Excellence Award - Established in 2015, this award is presented annually to recognize outstanding professional and community contributions of St. Jerome’s alum who have graduated within the last 15 years.
The Chancellor John R. and Kay Sweeney Award for Catholic Leadership - Established in 2001, this award is presented annually at the Feast of St. Jerome to an exemplary leader who publicly lives out the gospel values and understands the need to demonstrate these values to a future generation of leaders.
