Closure Guidelines
Inclement Weather
St. Jerome's University is aligned with the Weather Closing Guidelines of the University of Waterloo.
In the unfortunate event that the University has been officially closed due to severe weather conditions, the local media [radio stations: CKGL (570 AM), KFUN (99.5 FM), CHYM (96.7 FM), and KOOL-FM (105.3 FM)] will be contacted. Students, staff, and faculty can tune in or check both of the university's social media accounts for closure notices by 7 a.m.
Cancellation of Classes
If an instructor must cancel a class for any reason a notice will be listed on our Campus Alerts page, as well as posted on the front doors of the academic buildings and classrooms.
