SMF Hosting Safe on Campus Interactive Map
SMF will be hosting the "Safe on Campus?" Map from November 27th to December 8th in the Atrium of the Academic Centre.
This event is part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence on campus. All students are welcome and are encouraged to participate.
During the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence, several locations around campus will host the "Safe on Campus?" Map Project. This year, the Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies Department will be one of those hosts!
The map will be located in the Atrium of the Academic Centre from November 27 to December 8.
When you visit the map location, you are invited to indicate with red, yellow, and green dots which campus spaces feel unsafe, possibly unsafe, and safe, respectively.
Sticky notes will be available (also colour-coded) if you want to expand on why you put a dot in a particular location.
