Quality vs Cost in healthcare delivery – where is the balance?

In today’s economic environment, our publicly funded healthcare system remains under tremendous pressure. As our government funders and our patients demand lower costs and higher quality outcomes, we will explore if these demands are mutually exclusive or if they can indeed co-exist. Drawing on research and experiments from our own backyard and around the globe, this panel discussion will focus on whether higher quality healthcare at a lower cost can be achieved and what moral and ethical factors must be considered in getting us there.
