The Father Norm Choate Distinguished Graduate Award Presentation

The Father Norm Choate Distinguished Graduate Award is presented annually to a graduate of St. Jerome's University for outstanding contributions to his or her community, church and profession. At this year's event, the winner will be honoured at a special lecture and reception. All St. Jerome's graduates and friends are invited.

Special Guest Speaker: Father Norm Choate, C.R.

This year's Guest Speaker is the Award's namesake, Fr. Norm Choate, C.R. Fr. Choate was a Professor and the Chaplain at St. Jerome's University prior to becoming its President in 1979. Since leaving St. Jerome's, he has served in parishes in Alabama, Australia, Kentucky, and Florida. Fr. Choate is especially remembered as an admired and beloved homilist. Friends of Fr. Choate will have an opportunity to see him again and revisit past experiences at St. Jerome's.
