The Birth of Men as Fathers

Fr. Ed Hampson explores the experiences of first time fathers, which he sees as a journey to an expanded sense of self. A Roman Catholic priest, researcher and psychotherapist, and father of three children, Fr. Hampson has experience in the fields of spirituality, psychology, and family life that provides him with a unique perspective from which to understand how young men come to understand themselves as "fathers". He asks what support does the Church offer young men and families in this important transition?
