March Break Open House is fast approaching! In just over a week’s time, hundreds of prospective students and their guests will be joining us on campus to see if St. Jerome’s and the University of Waterloo are the right fit for them. This year, March Break Open House is happening Saturday, March 10 from 10 AM until 5 PM! With plenty of exciting things planned for the day, this event isn’t one that you want to miss out on!

 

There truly is no better way to determine whether a school is the right fit for you than by visiting campus. And there truly is no better time to visit campus than March Break Open House. At March Break Open House you can take a tour of campus, envision what it would be like to be a St. Jerome’s student, have all of your questions answered, and so much more!

 

Here are the top things to do at March Break Open House:

 

 

At any point between 10 AM until 5 PM you can drop by St. Jerome’s and receive a tour of our campus and facilities! No matter what you’re interested in, whether it’s our residence, academic programs, or both, our friendly Experience Guides (who are all current SJU students) will be happy to show you around! Throughout the day, you’re also able to receive tours of the University of Waterloo campus, as well as specific faculties! Check out some of the things you might see on a tour of campus below!

 

 

Want to see what it would be like to actually be a student at SJU and UWaterloo? Not sure what to expect from your courses if you were to enrol? At March Break Open House you can get a first-hand look at the courses we teach, and what university classes are really like! Over the course of the day, a number of sample lectures will be given in different subjects, so you’ll be able to see what a class you might actually take as a student could be like.

At 1:30 PM in Arts Lecture Hall, Room 105, you can hear SJU English Professor, Chad Wrigglesworth, give a sample lecture on "Poetic language: Opening a window of possibilities."
