The Department of Sexuality, Marriage, and Family Studies (SMF) is pleased to celebrate the long-awaited 10th Research Symposium with this year’s theme: From Singular to Plural: Developments and Intersections in the Study of Sexualities, Relationships, and Families.
"This theme highlights the need for diversity within relationship research," noted Denise Whitehead, PhD and the Chair of the SMF department, adding that it is also "an homage to our proposed name change for 2024, which is planning on adopting the pluralities across the domains of sexualities, relationships, and families.”
Information regarding Call for Proposals for the April Symposium event will be shared in January 2023. Research contributions are welcome from students from all levels (undergraduate to graduate) and from faculty from all institutions who share an interest in these domains.
