St. Jerome’s University is excited to welcome educator, speaker, and founder of CuratED Leadership Sheliza Jamal to campus (both for in-person and virtual opportunities). As an Equity and Inclusion facilitator, she will be guiding our students and members of the Student Affairs staff in conversations and opportunities to learn about and recognize instances of racism and oppression and how to respond.
In this workshop, students at all entry points will gain knowledge on key terms and issues related to equity, diversity, and inclusion such as the 4 I's of Oppression, Identity, Power, Privilege, Bias Awareness, Microaggression and Allyship.
