Hi there! Welcome to the St. Jerome’s University (SJU) Experience blog. My name is Meaghan and I’m in my third year of Honours Arts studying Psychology and Sexuality, Marriage & Family Studies, co-registered with St. Jerome’s. I’m currently on my second co-op term and I’m working in Student Affairs at SJU as the Recruitment & Outreach Associate.

 

I lived at St. Jerome’s in my first year and I loved it so much that I’ve returned this year as a Residence Don. Over the past three years, SJ has truly been my home and I am so excited to share with you all of the incredible reasons you should consider making it yours.

 

I can vividly remember my own experience leading up to university. It was an exciting time, but certainly marked with challenges. Between academics, residence, co-curricular opportunities, and student life there were so many variables to consider when choosing where to spend the next four years. So whether you’re still deciding where to apply, you’re considering SJU, or you’re fully committed to wearing green and gold, I’ve been there, and I remember just how excited (and dreadfully nervous) I was at each stage. This blog has been created and maintained by students and for students, to share our experiences and make your journey to university that much easier.

 

So stay tuned! I’ll be updating the blog every Tuesday and Thursday to bring you content about student life, unique opportunities, and what really sets St. Jerome’s apart. Not only will I be writing posts about involvement opportunities and residence life, but I’ll also be answering all of your most pressing questions about St. Jerome’s.
