St. Jerome’s University is committed to a bicameral governance structure. SJU's Senate Council is composed of members of the University administration, faculty members, contract academic staff, student representatives, and a representative from the University of Waterloo. It is the governing body responsible for academic policy development and programs.

Board of Governors Meeting

While St. Jerome’s University remains closed and social distancing measures are in place, the Board of Governors will be holding meetings using online video conference platforms. Members of the public are, as always, invited to attend the open sessions of these meetings.

 

Individuals who would like to attend the open session of the Board meeting occurring on Thursday, February 10, 2022 may contact Katrina Kaczala at katrina.kaczala@uwaterloo.ca to register and obtain the Zoom meeting link.

The Rule of Law Necropower - SJU/UW Joint Legal Studies Seminar

St. Jerome’s University (SJU) and the University of Waterloo welcome author and research professor Ariadna Estévez, PhD, to deliver the Fall 2021 Joint Legal Studies Seminar, taking place online on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Estévez will be speaking on a chapter from her book Necropower in North America: The Legal Spatialization of Disposability and Lucrative Death (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021).

 

An Evening To Remember Prayer Service

Please join us for a candlelight remembrance service on Thursday, November 18, 2021, 7:00 p.m. in the Notre Dame Chapel, led by St. Jerome's University's Campus Ministry. We will be remembering loved ones that have died, particularly those who passed during COVID-19.
 

"It is my desire to provide a little space to remember, honour and share together in some way a bit of the grieving process," noted Director, Campus Ministry, Sean Hayes. "All members of our community are welcome to join us."
