Library Open for Service
The newly renovated St. Jerome’s University library is now partially open on the second floor of the SJ1 building, while work continues on the completion of some service areas. The space when finished will include 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art learning, research, collaborative and quiet study space; an accessibility lift; smart classrooms; private meeting spaces; and electronic compact shelving.
A variety of group and individual study spaces for students; classrooms 2009 and 2011; the Academic Staff Association (ASA) Reading Room; services such as reserves and printing; and an Information Desk with staff who are ready to assist with your borrowing and research needs, are now all available. The opening of the collection and silent study areas, and labs soon, will complete the final part of this Campus Renewal project.
