Library expands hours, and opens new study areas, collection
The St. Jerome's University library collection and study areas are now open, located on the second floor of the SJ1 building on campus. The recently renovated library includes 17,000 square feet of state-of-the-art learning, research, collaborative and quiet study space; an accessibility lift; smart classrooms; private meeting spaces; and electronic compact shelving. Materials are still being added to the collection, but students now have access to it, quiet study spaces, carrels, a fireside reading area, many more computers to use, and other services that resumed operations in January. The Library is also expanding its hours to serve the community better.
