An interactive local experiential learning opportunity that engages students in social justice issues important to the Kitchener-Waterloo community, Encounter•KW introduces students to community members and organizations that are working to address often marginalized issues.

Through exploring, learning, and serving locally, Encounter•KW provides participants with the opportunity to connect directly with the community, and encourages students to begin to understand their role in addressing issues relevant to the Kitchener-Waterloo area.
