Please describe your role and position at St. Jerome's University.

I am the Director of Campus Ministry where I have the privilege of providing spiritual and faith support to our students, staff and faculty.

What is your favourite St. Jerome's memory?

My favourite memory is more than one.  Each year we have our Orientation Investiture Ceremony and I am so impressed at the sense of community it creates right at the beginning of a new academic year. Probably another favourite memory is Relay for Life!  What a tremendous outreach and work as a community.

What advice would you give to a first year student who is coming to St. Jerome's in the fall?

I'd advise first year students to get involved and to find out all that is going on in this amazing community.  Establish your supports and all the ways you will have a balanced time at University.

What advice do you have for graduating students as they finish up their degrees?

Celebrate, celebrate and celebrate!  You have accomplished much!  Stay in touch as an alumni of SJU.  Bring all you have experienced here with you as you take your next steps.

If you have any suggestions for content that you would love to read about on our blog, please send an email to outreach@sju.ca! We would love to know what our students are interested in reading and knowing more about.
